CHERNOBYL AT THE GOLDEN GLOBES
Congratulation Jared Harris! The actor, one of the VIP guests of last September ITTV Festival, got a nomination at the Golden Globes: Best Performance by an Actor in a Limited Series or a Motion Picture Made for Television. Harris plays scholar Valery Legasov in Chernobyl, the acclaimed series about the nuclear incident happened in April 1986, when an explosion at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, in the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, becomes one of the world’s worst man-made catastrophes.
Harris got one of the four nominations for the series. The others are: Best Television Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television, Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television, to Stellan Skargård, and Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television, to Emily Watson.
The 77th Golden Globe Awards will take place on January 5th and will be broadcast on NBC. Produced by Dick Clark Productions and the HFPA, the ceremony will be hosted by Ricky Gervais, for the fifth time.
